Aislinn Wins! Thank you to all of my supporters, friends, and family.
I am running for City Council because our city government needs to take action. I am a recent mom—my husband, Mike, and I have a seven month old daughter, Tatum. She has changed me and helped me to see we need to work today for our tomorrows. I want to protect her future and our future by improving the health and safety of our community; by working for a responsive government that listens to and acts on the needs of our citizens;
and by strengthening our economy to create, retain, and attract quality jobs in Fort Collins.
Three days each week I work at Poudre Valley Hospital as an intensive care nurse. A nurse cannot wait for a problem to turn into a crisis. After assessing a situation, you’ve got to act. It’s time for City Council to act on a number of pressing issues. I love being a nurse and an advocate for my patients. I am their last line of defense. On City Council I will work hard to be a strong advocate for you. I will be a strong voice… not afraid to speak up on those issues most important to families in Fort Collins.
I grew up in the farming community of Rocky Ford, Colorado, where my mom and dad were small business owners. I moved to Fort Collins in 1997 to attend CSU. I became a Registered Nurse in 2005 and my husband, Mike, and I were married in 2006.
Working at PVH, I am in contact with people of Fort Collins from all walks of life. I see the problems facing families in Fort Collins. I am in tune with their needs and motivated to do something.
Thank you for your support!
